Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Locum Tenens Opportunity - Winston-Salem, NC
Position Overview
Advocate Health is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, a Level 1 High Acuity Trauma Center in Winston-Salem, NC. This is an ongoing call-only position providing anesthesia services for a wide range of surgical specialties in an inpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide anesthesia services across multiple surgical specialties at a Level 1 trauma center:
General Surgery
Gynecology
Urology
Orthopedic Surgery
Spine Surgery
Vascular Surgery
Cardiac Surgery
Pulmonary Surgery
Out-of-room Cases
Must be comfortable working with both adult and pediatric patients. In-house call response required with approximately 3 shifts per week. 100% hands-on anesthesia care with all hours considered.
Candidate Requirements
License and Certification:
Active NC license or IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact)
Current CRNA board certification (Certified)
Board certification must be on active registry
Required Certifications and Training:
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Additional Requirements:
Comfort with both adult and pediatric anesthesia
Medical direction capability
Temporary privileges available (hospital privileges not required)
No supervision required
