Pediatrics Physician
Position Overview
Locum tenens physician needed for call coverage in pediatrics at an inpatient facility. This is a call-only position with beeper call type.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to beeper calls with 30-minute response time.
Call ratio 1:3.
Approximately 7 patient encounters per shift.
Hands-on patient care approximately 25% of time.
Approximately 1 admission per shift.
Rounding on both admitted and other patients.
Average of 0.25 phone consultations and 0.25 patients seen.
Candidate Requirements
Physician specialty in Pediatrics.
Licensed in OK.
Board certification in Pediatrics required. Minimum eligibility level.
Fellowship in Pediatrics required.
ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
No supervision required.
Location Information
Inpatient setting at a trauma level 3 pediatrics level 1 facility.
Nearest airports: Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, Dallas Love Field.
Lodging recommendation: Choctaw Casino and Resort.
