Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician Opportunity - Durant, OK
Position Overview
Community Health Systems is seeking a Locum Tenens Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician for AllianceHealth Durant Med Group in Durant, Oklahoma. This is a call-only position to cover a department vacancy due to restructuring. The position is available on an ongoing basis, starting ASAP.
Key Responsibilities
Provide obstetric and gynecologic care in both outpatient and inpatient settings
Manage on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time requirement on a 1:2 call ratio
Conduct approximately 3-5 patient encounters per shift with an estimated 3 phone consultations
Participate in patient rounding in both inpatient and outpatient capacities
Work with 7 RNs and 2 office staff members to deliver comprehensive patient care
Manage approximately 1 admission per shift
Utilize Cerner and Athena EMR systems
Candidate Requirements
Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Valid medical license in Oklahoma
Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
Current ABLS (Advanced Burn Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications
Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges available
