Interventional Cardiology Physician Opportunity - Gadsden, AL
Position Overview
RecruitWell is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Physician for a locum tenens call coverage opportunity at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. This is a 2-month assignment beginning July 31, 2026, with potential for additional call coverage weeks. This is a call-only position providing supplemental coverage on a beeper basis in an inpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide interventional cardiology call coverage with a 30-minute response time requirement
Round on unassigned patients
Manage possible stimulation cases
Participate in beeper-based call system for cardiology emergencies and consultations
Work within a Level 3 trauma facility environment
Candidate Requirements
Board Certification: Board eligible or board certified in Interventional Cardiology
License: Alabama license or IMLC license required
Certifications Required:
ABLS (Advanced Burn Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
Fellowship: Interventional Cardiology fellowship preferred
Additional Requirements: Estimated credentialing time of 30 days; temporary privileges available
