Position Overview
RecruitWell is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Physician for a Locum Tenens position at Northwest Medical Center at Houghton Hospital in Tucson, Arizona. This is a scheduled clinical hours plus call opportunity covering a vacancy due to medical leave. The position is available ASAP on an ongoing basis.

Practice Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
Scheduled clinical hours with beeper call coverage
Patient encounters approximately 10 per shift
Average of 10 phone consultations
Approximately 3 patients seen on average
Rounding on assigned patients
Approximately 1 admission per shift
Call response time required: 45 minutes
Call ratio: 1
Hands-on percentage: 10%
EMR Systems: Cerner and Athena
Candidate Requirements
Board Certification: Required (Certified, must be on or after)
License: Licensed in AZ or IMLC
Fellowship: Required
Hospital Privileges: Required (Temporary privileges available)
Supervision Required: No
Required Certifications:
ABLS (Advanced Burn Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Estimated Credentialing Time: 14 days
