Orthopaedic Surgery - Hand Surgery Physician Opportunity - Lafayette, LA
Position Overview
Ochsner Lafayette General is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join our rapidly growing practice. This is a permanent position with a well-established referral network and immediate block time available. Key Responsibilities
Performing hand surgery procedures with access to state-of-the-art technology including microscope for hand procedures
Teaching and working with residents
Maintaining outpatient and inpatient clinical hours with 2-3 days in the OR per week for balanced scheduling
Utilizing on-site inpatient rehab for seamless patient care coordination
Working with multiple APPs for clinical and surgical support
Low call burden with beeper call type for better work-life balance
Candidate Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery - Hand Surgery
Fellowship training required
Valid medical license
Hospital privileges required at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center
LA Patient Care Fund coverage required for all physicians providing services at Ochsner facilities in Louisiana
Clean background check and malpractice history with no open or pending claims
CV/Resume required for submission
