Clinical Role:
- Seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP)
- Permanent job opening
- Must have completed formal pediatric-focused Nurse Practitioner training
- Must have at least 1 year of post-training experience working with pediatric patients
- Must be passionate about working with underserved pediatric populations and improving access to high-quality healthcare
- Patient census: approximately 14–16 patients per day
- Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm
- Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care, including well-child visits, sick visits, preventative care, developmental screenings, immunizations, and management of common acute and chronic pediatric conditions
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus, but not required
- Must have a current, valid license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Texas or be eligible to obtain one
- Must hold appropriate pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Must possess strong computer/technology skills to efficiently document using the EMR system, conduct telemedicine visits when applicable, and communicate virtually with colleagues
