Harker Heights, Texas – Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Job Opportunity

Clinical Role:

• Seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
• Permanent job opening
• Outpatient behavioral health setting
• Treat patients ages 5–99
• Schedule:
  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: 8am–5pm
  • Tuesday: 10am–7pm
• Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, ongoing treatment, and behavioral health care across the lifespan
• Must be passionate about working with underserved populations and improving access to quality mental healthcare
• Patient census: approximately 14–16 patients per day
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus, but not required
• Must have a current, valid license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Texas or be eligible to obtain one
• Must hold appropriate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Must possess strong computer/technology skills to efficiently document using the EMR system, conduct telemedicine visits when applicable, and communicate virtually with colleagues
