Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Position Overview

Due to term provider and FMLA coverage needs, we are searching for full-time locums to help with coverage until a permanent provider can be hired. This is an ongoing need offering flexibility across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

Scheduled Clinical Hours

Regular hours 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

On-call 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM

On-call 3:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Weekday call shift starts after scheduled cases (normally 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM until 7:00 AM the next day)

Weekend call shifts start after scheduled cases on Friday (normally 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM). Saturday: 24-hour call shift. Sunday: 24-hour call shift. Weekend call shift Friday 3:00 PM until Monday 7:00 AM

Call coverage once per week and one weekend per month

Coverage at multiple outpatient surgery and inpatient locations

Procedures: general anesthesia, epidural (preferred), regional nerve blocks (preferred), central lines (preferred), MAC. No neuro, no cardiac cases.

30-minute lunch break (not paid)

Overtime applies after daily scheduled shift

Candidate Requirements

Board certified or board eligible

Full-time availability

Current BLS certification

Licensed in Missouri or IMLC

Hospital privileges required (temporary privileges available)

Organizational Highlights

Established health system with multiple surgical facilities

Support for credentialing process with estimated 90-day timeline

Epic EMR system

Malpractice insurance provided by vendor

Location Information

Multiple locations served: outpatient surgery center and inpatient hospital

Monday-Wednesday primary assignment at specified locations

Flexibility for same-day rotation between locations based on case needs

Outpatient surgery center: Monday-Friday schedule varies

Inpatient hospital: 24/7 call coverage for general surgery and OB
