Locums – Longview, Washington, GI Hospitalist Job

Start Date & Duration:

• Start Date: 12/07/2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Coverage & Schedule:

• 5 8-hour shifts per week
• Monday–Friday
• 24-hour call as scheduled
• 24-hour call is unrestricted and includes consults, rounding, and add-on ACU cases
• Call will be scheduled as needed, primarily when an internal physician is unavailable
• Additional coverage needed for PTO and other scheduling needs
• Coverage Needed: 5 shifts per week, plus 24-hour call as scheduled

Patient Volume & Setting:

• 12–14 patients per day
• Patient Population: Adults
• Practice Setting: Hospital – Inpatient

Support Staff:

• 3 GI providers
• Hospitalists
• 2 APPs

Procedures & Skills:

• Rounding & Admission
• Standard Endoscopy Procedures
• No ERCP

Support & Systems:

• EMR: Epic

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Gastroenterology
• Washington license required
• Washington license must be in hand at the time of presentation
• Certifications: BLS & ACLS
• Applicants must provide documentation (case list) of clinical services provided to 100 patients representative of the scope and complexity of the privileges requested during the previous 24 months
• Case list must include:
  • Diagnosis or procedure
  • Date
  • Facility where performed
