Position Overview

Locum tenens coverage for inpatient obstetrics and gynecology. Every 5th weekend call starting Friday 5pm through Monday 5am. Beeper call with 30-minute response time required.

Key Responsibilities

Call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology services including labor and delivery, postpartum care, and women's health.

Department includes 16 beds (8 LDRP, 8 couplet/GYN beds) with nursing ratios of 1:1 during labor, 2:1 postpartum, and 4:1 women's health. One NP on staff.

Estimated 5 patient encounters per shift with 0-5 average phone consults and 0-3 average patients seen. Approximately 0-2 admissions per shift.

Candidate Requirements

Active Missouri medical license required.

Board certification required (eligible minimum).

Clean NPDB and malpractice history required.

ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.

CV/Resume required for bidding.
