Emergency Medicine Physician
Position Overview
Locum tenens opportunity primarily for Emergency Medicine coverage. Privileging will also be extended to an additional location in case staffing needs arise. Approximately 6-10 shifts per month available with flexibility for ongoing assignments.
Key Responsibilities
Must be willing to work overnight and weekend shifts, with day shifts also included as needed. Patient encounters average 15-20 per shift depending on 8-hour versus 9-hour shift length.
Candidate Requirements
Completion of an Emergency Medicine Residency required
ABEM Certified required
Cerner Experience preferred
Licensed in Indiana or IMLC
Board certification eligible minimum
Hospital privileges required
