Locums - Mt. Pleasant, Michigan | OB/GYN Hospitalist Opportunity

Clinical Role

Seeking a Board Certified OB/GYN Hospitalist for a locums opportunity in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Coverage includes Labor & Delivery, Emergency Department, surgical coverage, acute/urgent surgical needs, and emergent clinic consults to determine whether hospital admission is required.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: September 2026
• Contract Length: Anticipated through January 2, 2027
• Schedule: 24-hour hospital coverage; specific dates TBD
• Coverage Need: OB call every fifth week of the month
• Patient Volume: Approximately 4 deliveries per day
• Procedures: Low-risk pregnancy, vaginal deliveries, C-sections, repair of third- and fourth-degree lacerations, VBAC, OB ultrasound, and amniocentesis
• Support: 2 NPs
• EMR: Cerner
• Requirements: Board Certified in OB/GYN with at least 2 years of OB/GYN experience
• Licensure: Active Michigan license required
• Local Candidates: Preferred
