Locums – Midland, Michigan – Vascular Surgery Job (IMLC Welcome)

Clinical Role:

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Vascular Surgeon

• IMLC candidates welcome

• Must be available to cover the majority of the dates listed below

• Additional ongoing coverage dates expected

• One business day of orientation and Epic training

• Up to three business days of proctoring, including five required cases

Coverage Dates:

• October 5–9

• October 15

• October 23–25

• November 2–9

• November 16–23

• November 27

• November 30–December 7

• December 14–17

Schedule & Coverage:

• Monday–Friday clinic in Midland

• Includes weekday, weekend, and holiday call coverage

• Weekend call rotation: 1:3, occasionally up to two weekends per month

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Inpatient rounding

• Outpatient clinic

• Surgical and procedural cases

• Work in the cath lab, interventional radiology suite, hybrid OR, and vascular lab

• Interpretation of vascular testing

Volumes & Case Mix:

• High-productivity environment at the 90th percentile

• Reported 2025 practice volumes:

  • OR cases: 566

  • Invasive procedures: 1,323

  • Satellite: 184

  • Minor cosmetic: 276

  • Vascular testing reads: 10,195

  • Clinic visits: 5,995 annually, shared among three surgeons

Requirements:

• Board certified or truly board eligible in Vascular Surgery

• BLS and ACLS required

• At least 50 major vascular procedures performed within the past 12 months, including seven open aortic cases

• Strong, recent case logs required

Support & Environment:

• Four APPs onsite; no APP supervision required

• EMR: Epic

• Dictation: Dragon

Credentialing:

• Typically approximately 30 days

• May be expedited based on the start date
