Locums – Jefferson City, Missouri – Psychiatry

Start Date:

• 12/28/2026

Coverage Needed:

• Weekend inpatient coverage and call
• 1–2 weekends per month, typically 1 weekend per month
• PTO coverage also needed: December 28 – January 8

Schedule Details:

• Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 8:00 AM
• Onsite patient visits during the day
• Call coverage day and night
• PTO coverage generally includes:
  • Unit coverage: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Call coverage: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM

Practice Setting:

• Hospital setting
• Inpatient acute behavioral health unit

Patient Population:

• Adults age 18+
• Average daily census: 16 patients

Support Staff:

• RNs
• Technicians
• Social workers
• EMR: Epic

Clinical Services:

• Inpatient behavioral health evaluation and management

Requirements:

• Board Certification required
• 2–3 years of inpatient experience required
• Missouri license required or provider must be willing to obtain one
