Locums - Flint, Michigan | Therapeutic Medical Physicist - Radiation Oncology Opportunity

Clinical Role

Seeking an experienced Therapeutic Medical Physicist for a locums Radiation Therapy opportunity in Flint, Michigan. The provider will support primarily outpatient radiation oncology services across multiple locations.

Schedule & Coverage

• Start Date: As soon as credentialed; approximately 30 days anticipated for NRC/State RAM licensing
• Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
• Hours: 8:00 am-5:00 pm
• Coverage: Multiple outpatient locations

Practice Setting & Patient Volume

• Primarily outpatient setting
• Occasional inpatient cases may come to the outpatient setting for simulation and treatment to alleviate symptoms
• Patient Volume: Approximately 60-70 patients per day across 3 locations
• Patient population varies

Clinical Responsibilities

• Initial and weekly chart checks
• Machine QA
• HDR treatment planning and treatment operation
• SBRT treatment supervision

Requirements & Systems

• Board Certified through ABR or ABMP required
• Active Michigan license required; no exceptions
• Minimum 3 years of experience required; 5+ years preferred
• Local candidates only
• Clean background with no malpractice or licensing issues required
• EMR: Aria
