Locums – Saint Louis, Missouri – Pediatric Nephrology (IMLC Accepted)

Start Date: 11/03/2026

Coverage Details:

• Continuous Friday-to-Friday, 24/7 service week
• Typically 1 week per month for 9–10 months of the year
• Pediatric Nephrology inpatient coverage and 24/7 call coverage
• Approximately 7 call shifts per month for a 1.0 FTE

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday: Onsite approximately 7:00/8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday–Sunday: Onsite approximately 7:00/8:00 AM – 2:00 PM, or longer if needed
• Overnight/after onsite hours: Call from a nearby hotel
• 1-hour response time if return to the hospital is required

Call Volume:

• Approximately 10 calls per day
• Approximately 14 hours of call per week
• Onsite emergent care estimated at approximately 20 hours per week

• Hospital
• Inpatient Pediatric Nephrology
• Outpatient hemodialysis coverage as needed

Patient Population:

• Pediatric patients

Support Staff:

• Residents
• Students
• Nurse practitioners
• Nursing staff
• Transplant coordinators
• Dialysis nurse practitioners
• Renal team

Procedures & Services:

• Renal biopsies
• Inpatient hemodialysis
• Continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT)
• Peritoneal dialysis
• Plasmapheresis
• Nephrology admissions and consultations

EMR:

• Epic

Requirements:

• Missouri license required
• IMLC accepted
