Locums Anesthesiology Opening – Reidsville, North Carolina

Availability & Schedule

• Start: June – Ongoing

• Daytime Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Call: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM every night while working

• Call Schedule: Every night while working, including weekends in between and at the end of the rotation

• Rotation: TBD — options such as 3 weeks on / 1 week off

• Call Response Time: 45 minutes – 1 hour

Required Credentials

• North Carolina License: Required

• NC DEA: Required

• ACLS: Required

• PALS: Required

• BLS: Required

• Caselogs: Required

Required Clinical Experience

• Required Proficiency: Spinals, blocks, and epidurals

• Case Volume: Approximately 4,900 cases per year

• Case Mix: Bread-and-butter general, orthopedics, GYN, and extensive GI

• No Trauma

• No OB

Practice & Supervision

• Supervision: Yes

• Supervision Model: Approximately 85% supervision / 15% own cases

• Daytime Staffing: 5–6 total providers

  • 1 MD

  • 4–5 CRNAs

• MD Responsibilities: Pre-ops, PACU, boards, some blocks, and daytime float/break coverage

• Blocks: MDs and CRNAs perform blocks
