Locums – Tampa, Florida, Anesthesiologist Opening

Clinical Role

• ASAP start
• Ongoing need
• Seeking 2-3 full-time anesthesiologists
• General acute care setting
• Board certification required
• Active Florida license required

Schedule & Coverage

• Monday-Friday
• Typical non-call schedule: 7:00 am-5:00 pm
• Approximately 40 hours per week
• Daily OR start time: 7:00 am
• No regularly scheduled weekend ORs

Call Requirements

• Beeper call
• 1:4 call rotation
• Weekday on-call schedule: 7:00 am-7:00 pm, followed by beeper call from 7:00 pm-7:00 am
• Weekend beeper call: 24-hour shifts from 7:00 am-7:00 am
• Post-call: First out

Practice Setting & Case Mix

• 183-bed acute care setting
• 10 ORs staffed daily
• Approximately 25 cases per day
• Cases include bariatric, orthopedic/spine, vascular, neuro, GYN, GI, endoscopy, ENT, and urology
• No trauma, pediatric, or OB cases
• NORA coverage includes cath lab, endoscopy, and interventional radiology

Practice Model & Systems

• 100% supervision
• Medaxion charting system
