Locums – Cadillac, Michigan, OB/GYN Opening

Clinical Role

• ASAP start
• Ongoing need
• Seeking 2 OB/GYN physicians
• Approximately 3-6 days of coverage per month
• 100% inpatient/hospital-based practice
• Must be comfortable practicing independently in a rural setting

Schedule & Call

• 24-hour call coverage, typically 7:00 am-7:00 am
• Coverage days vary
• Beeper/phone call
• 1:5 call ratio
• Callback volume varies
• Must be willing to provide coverage in Cadillac, Gaylord, and Charlevoix, Michigan

Practice Setting & Clinical Expectations

• Broad-scope OB/GYN coverage
• Routine vaginal deliveries
• Cesarean sections
• Management of obstetric emergencies
• Trauma Level I and Level II settings
• Oracle EMR

Requirements & Credentialing

• Board Certified in OB/GYN required
• Active Michigan medical license required
• Candidates requiring licensure will not be considered
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, EFM, NRP, and DEA required
• Broad-scope OB/GYN experience, including routine deliveries, C-sections, and management of obstetric emergencies in a rural setting
• No fellowship required
• Michigan residents preferred
