Clinical Role

• Permanent position
• 100% outpatient Internal Medicine
• Adult patient population, ages 18+
• Average patient panel: approximately 1,500
• Patient volume goal: 20-25 patients per day
• Initial ramp-up begins at approximately 1 patient per hour and gradually increases
• Provider controls the pace of ramp-up; slower ramp-up may result in a longer path to shareholdership
• Quality-based model with expanding value-based care participation

Schedule & Call

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
• Call rotation: approximately 1:17 weeks, or 2-3 times per year
• Phone-only call as backup to the after-hours answering service

Practice Setting & Support

• Large multispecialty outpatient campus
• On-site lab and imaging, including X-ray, CT, MRI, mammography, and ultrasound
• On-site radiology support with rapid imaging results available through the EMR
• Same-day clinic
• 1 dedicated MA per provider
• Additional float MAs assist with rooming patients for 2-3 physicians
• On-site internal coding team available for support
• APP supervision in the same-day clinic may begin after 90 days
• Additional APP supervision opportunities may apply after becoming a shareholder
• Athena EMR

• 32% Medicare and Medicare Advantage
• 60% commercial
• 4% Medicaid
• 4% Tricare

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine MD/DO
