Locums – Owosso, Michigan, OB/GYN Hospitalist Opening

Coverage Dates

• October 9, 2026 at 8:00 am-October 12, 2026 at 8:00 am
• December 24, 2026 at 8:00 am-December 28, 2026 at 8:00 am
• One provider needed

Schedule & Call

• 24-hour call coverage during scheduled coverage gaps
• Combination of in-house and beeper/phone call responsibilities
• One provider on call at a time
• Average callback volume: approximately 15 hours

Practice Setting & Patient Volume

• Inpatient/hospital-based practice
• Level IV trauma setting
• Adult patient population
• Approximately 85% inpatient and 15% outpatient call coverage
• Average daily volume: approximately 5 patients
• Primary coverage includes Labor & Delivery, phone triage, and Emergency Department OB/GYN call

Procedures & Clinical Expectations

• Labor and Delivery coverage
• Dilation and curettage (D&C)
• OB/GYN emergency call coverage
• Phone triage
• Must be comfortable managing Labor & Delivery patients and responding to Emergency Department OB/GYN calls
• Meditech EMR

Requirements & Credentialing

• Board Certified in OB/GYN required
• Active Michigan license required
• Candidates requiring licensure will not be considered
• Fellowship training required
• BLS and DEA required
