Position Overview

• Start Date: December 27, 2026
• Coverage Dates: December 27–31, 2026
• Practice Setting: Hospital
• Patient Population: Adults and healthy pediatric patients
• General Anesthesiology locum coverage
• Hospital and surgery center coverage

Schedule & Call

• Weekday Shifts:
  • 7a–3p
  • 7a–5p
• Weekday & Weekend Call: 7a–7a
• 1st and 2nd call coverage
• Weekend call may be paired with 1st or 2nd call, along with regular day shifts

Support Staff

• Anesthesia tech support during the week
• CRNAs/CAAs for medically directed cases

Procedures & Case Mix

• General surgery
• GYN
• OB
• Vascular
• Urology
• Neuro/spine
• Orthopedics
• Healthy pediatric ENT/dental
• EP
• GI
• Cardiac coverage includes open-heart cases and TAVRs
• General locum weeks/call do not include cardiac cases

Equipment & Skills

• TEE available
• TEE skills required for cardiac coverage

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Active Wisconsin license required
