Downtown Brooklyn, New York, Non-Invasive Cardiologist Job

Clinical Role:

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible non-invasive cardiologist

• Open to new graduates

• ASAP start available

• Outpatient only

• No call or hospital responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care, including diagnosis, treatment, preventive care, and ongoing disease management

• Clinical services include:

  • Non-invasive cardiac testing

  • Echocardiography and stress echocardiography

  • Electrocardiogram interpretation

  • Cardiovascular disease prevention and screening

  • Metabolic and peripheral vascular disease testing

  • Pacemaker and defibrillator monitoring

• Team-based environment with RN support, a dedicated MA (1:1), and an APP

• APP practices independently

• Multispecialty group with multiple specialties onsite

• Patient population includes commercially insured, Medicaid, and Medicare patients, as well as underserved communities

• EMR: Epic

• Completion of accredited internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship training required before starting

• COCATS Level II or Level III training preferred

• Nuclear cardiology certification through CBNC and echocardiography certification through NBE required

• Radiation safety certification required; specific credential requirements to be confirmed with the client

• Active, unrestricted New York State medical license or eligibility for licensure

• Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain

• Medicare/Medicaid enrollment or eligibility to enroll

• BLS or ACLS certification strongly preferred
