Locums – Big Stone Gap, Virginia Hematology/Oncology

24-hour call shifts: 8:00 AM – 8:00 AM
No hourly call shifts
Provider works regular clinic hours while on call
Onsite Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Cover one week of 24-hour call per month
Primarily a float position between multiple locations
Approximately 2 weeks/month at the primary location
Remaining 2 weeks split between two sister locations, approximately 2 days/week
During call week, provider maintains clinic responsibilities, including Friday clinic coverage at the primary location

Coverage

Float between multiple facilities
Both locations treat Hematology and Oncology patients
Inpatient consultations at the primary location as needed
Telehealth consultations acceptable for other locations unless onsite coverage is required
One additional location is tele-consult only and covered exclusively during the assigned call week
Telehealth consults provided for the additional facility during call shifts at other locations
