Clinical Role

• 13-week assignment
• Adult Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Physician Assistant position
• Patient volume varies

Schedule & Call

• Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-5:00 pm
• 1:5 call rotation
• Call coverage: 7:00 am-7:00 am

Practice Setting & Clinical Expectations

• Cardiothoracic Surgery
• CVOR first-assist responsibilities
• Robotic surgery equipment utilized
• Support includes Cardiothoracic Surgeons, PAs, and RNs
• Epic EMR

Requirements & Credentialing

• Board certification required
• Active Wisconsin license required
• Minimum 2 years of PA experience
• Minimum 1 year of cardiac surgery-specific CVOR first-assist experience
• BLS and ACLS required
• DEA required
