Locums – Monroe, Wisconsin, OB/GYN Hospitalist Opening (IMLC Accepted)

Clinical Role

• Coverage: November 2026-November 2027
• Hospital-based OB/GYN Hospitalist coverage
• Primarily Labor & Delivery
• Approximately 500-600 births annually
• Approximately 8-10 24-hour call shifts per month
• Combination of weekday and weekend coverage
• Block scheduling preferred; minimum 5 shifts per month

Open Coverage

• November 17 at 7:00 am-November 18 at 7:00 am
• December 4 at 7:00 am-December 12 at 7:00 am
• January 1 at 7:00 am-January 11 at 7:00 am
• February 5 at 7:00 am-February 15 at 7:00 am
• March 5 at 7:00 am-March 15 at 7:00 am

Practice Setting & Clinical Expectations

• Routine labor management
• Vaginal deliveries
• C-sections
• Postpartum rounding
• Emergency gynecologic consults as needed
• Limited high-risk obstetrics
• No VBAC
• Patients under 36 weeks gestation are transferred
• Epic EMR

Requirements & Credentialing

• Board certification required
• Active Wisconsin license or IMLC accepted
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP required
• DEA and CSR required
• 1-2 years of experience preferred
• Willingness to provide additional regional coverage as needed is a plus
