Locums – Baraboo, Wisconsin, OB/GYN Hospitalist Opening (IMLC Accepted)

Clinical Role

• Coverage: December 2026-December 2027
• Hospital-based OB/GYN Hospitalist coverage
• Primarily Labor & Delivery
• Approximately 15-20 24-hour shifts per month
• Combination of weekday and weekend coverage
• Minimum 1-week block of coverage per month
• Approximately 120 births annually

Open Coverage

• December 7 at 7:00 am-December 14 at 7:00 am
• January 22 at 7:00 am-January 25 at 7:00 am

Practice Setting & Clinical Expectations

• Rural community hospital
• Routine labor management
• Vaginal deliveries
• C-sections
• Postpartum rounding
• Emergency gynecologic consults as needed
• No high-risk obstetrics
• CNM support
• No residents or medical students
• No 24/7 anesthesia coverage
• Epic EMR

Requirements & Credentialing

• Board certification required
• Active Wisconsin license or IMLC accepted
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP required
• DEA and CSR required
• 1-2 years of experience preferred
• Willingness to provide additional regional coverage as needed is a plus
