Locums – Northampton, Massachusetts, Gastroenterology Hospitalist Opening

Clinical Role

• Start date: January 8, 2027
• 13-week assignment
• Adult Gastroenterology coverage
• Call-only hospital coverage
• Approximately 1 weekend every 5 weeks
• Inpatient rounding required
• Hospitalists take first call
• Solo Gastroenterologist coverage with no APP support

Schedule & Call

• Weekend call: Friday at 3:00 pm-Monday at 6:00 am
• Approximately 1 weekend every 5 weeks

Procedures

• Upper endoscopy
• Lower endoscopy
• Colonoscopy
• Bread-and-butter Gastroenterology procedures
• EUS and ERCP preferred

Practice Setting & Systems

• Hospital-based call coverage
• Epic EMR

Requirements & Credentialing

• Board certification in Gastroenterology required
• Active Massachusetts license required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• BLS required
• DEA required
