Locums – Eustis, Florida, Emergency Medicine Openings

Clinical Role

• Start date: November 1, 2026
• 3-month assignment
• Free-standing Emergency Department
• Approximately 11,000 annual ED visits
• Approximately 1.3 patients per hour
• 24 hours of physician coverage daily

Practice Setting & Support

• 12 private exam rooms with designated trauma room
• Onsite X-ray and CT imaging with and without contrast
• Ultrasound available 24/7 with approximately 30-minute response time
• Onsite laboratory services
• Meditech EMR

Requirements & Credentialing

• ABEM/AOBEM board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine physicians accepted
• Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians may also be considered with required Emergency Medicine experience
• Non-Emergency Medicine residency-trained physicians must have:
  • Minimum 6,000 hours of Emergency Department experience
  • Full-time Emergency Medicine experience during the 3 years immediately preceding application
• ACLS and PALS required
• ATLS recommended but not required
