Locums – Orlando, Florida, Emergency Medicine Opening

Clinical Role

• Start date: November 27, 2026
• 3-month assignment
• Free-standing Emergency Department
• Approximately 15,000 anticipated annual ED visits
• Approximately 42 patients per day
• 24 hours of physician coverage
• Must be willing to provide coverage at affiliated free-standing Emergency Departments as needed

Practice Setting & Support

• 11 private Emergency Department bays, including a fully equipped trauma bay
• CT, ultrasound, and radiology imaging available
• Dedicated EMS ambulance access
• Patients requiring inpatient admission are transferred with coordinated handoff to hospitalists, intensivists, and specialists

Requirements & Credentialing

• ABEM/AOBEM board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine physicians accepted
• Board-certified Family Medicine physicians may be considered with:
  • Minimum 4 years of Emergency Medicine experience and/or Emergency Medicine fellowship training
• ACLS and PALS required
• ATLS required and must be current at time of submission
