Locums – Petoskey, Michigan, Neurosurgery Opening (IMLC Accepted)

Clinical Role

• Hospital-based Neurosurgery coverage
• Approximately 14 days of call coverage needed per month
• 24-hour call with daily inpatient rounding and admissions
• Approximately 5-10 inpatients per day
• Emergent Neurosurgery call and emergent surgical cases
• Must perform both spinal and cranial procedures

Current Coverage Needs

• October 2 at 8:00 am-October 6 at 8:00 am
• October 29 at 8:00 am-November 6 at 8:00 am
• Ongoing coverage anticipated at approximately 14 days per month

Practice Setting & Support

• Imaging, laboratory, procedure rooms, and OR onsite
• Neurosurgeon, Orthopedic Spine Surgeon, and Neurosurgery APP support
• Cerner EMR

Requirements & Credentialing

• Board Certified Neurosurgery required; Board Eligible not accepted
• Active Michigan license required; IMLC candidates may be considered with a clean background
• ACLS required
• Fellowship training required
• Minimum 2-3 years of post-fellowship experience required
• Must be proficient in both spinal and cranial procedures
