Locums – Potsdam, New York Anesthesiology Job

Start Date:

• ASAP

Contract Length:

• 6 months, ongoing as needed

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
• Weekday call: 3:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
• Weekend call: Friday at 7:00 a.m.–Monday at 7:00 a.m.
• Weekday and weekend call required

Upcoming Coverage Dates:

• 10/19/2026–10/23/2026: No weekday call (MD)
• 11/05/2026–11/13/2026: Weekend call 11/6–11/8 and weekday call 11/10 and 11/12 (MD)
• 12/21/2026–12/30/2026: Holiday call 12/24–12/27 (MD); very urgent coverage needed due to no full-time provider available to take call

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Inpatient anesthesia
• OB anesthesia
• Epidurals
• General anesthesia
• Schedule surgeries
• May involve CRNA supervision
• Other duties as assigned
• Must be comfortable working in a rural, critical access setting

Patient Volume:

• Approximately 10–15 patients

EMR:

• Epic experience required

Requirements:

• Board Certified
• Active New York license
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• PALS required
• AHA or RQI certification
