Coverage needs may be sporadic, and shift dates may vary. Local providers are preferred due to the flexible, as-needed nature of the schedule.

Licensure & Certifications

• Active Illinois medical license required

• IMLC candidates not accepted

• DEA required

• CSR required

• ACLS required

• BLS required
• EMR: Epic

Clinical Requirements

• Must be comfortable working in a Level 1 Trauma Center

• Must be able to perform both open and endovascular procedures

• Busy, well-established vascular surgery practice

• Average census: 5–10 patients per day

• Approximately 6 outpatient elective procedures per day

• Strong support staff, including 1 APP and nursing staff in clinic and 2 APPs assisting with rounding

• Candidate will not work solo

Schedule & Call

• Monday–Friday clinic: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Night call, not every night

• Some 24-hour weekend call coverage

• Telephone call

• 30-minute response time

• On-call responsibilities required???????

Approximately 90 minutes from Chicago, depending on traffic and destination.
