Locums - Saint Louis, Missouri | CRNA Opportunity

Clinical Role

RecruitWell is seeking an experienced CRNA for a six-month locums anesthesia opportunity in Saint Louis, Missouri. This is a weekend-only assignment in an academic hospital setting with medically directed anesthesia care and a broad surgical case mix. Level I Trauma experience is required with no exceptions.

Assignment Details

• Start date: October 12, 2026

• Contract length: 6 months

• Coverage needed: 3 shifts per week

• Weekend coverage only

• Hospital setting

• Academic/training environment

• Hospital size: 316 beds

• Patient population: Adults

• Patient volume: TBD

• Department: Anesthesia

Schedule & Coverage

• Friday: 7:00 am-7:00 pm

• Saturday: 7:00 am-7:00 pm

• Sunday: 7:00 am-3:00 pm

• Schedule consists of two 12-hour shifts and one 8-hour shift

• Shift times may occasionally vary

Practice Setting & Case Mix

Medically directed anesthesia coverage includes:

• General Surgery

• Orthopedics

• Neurosurgery

• Trauma

• Obstetrics

• Cardiac cases

Practice Model & Clinical Expectations

• Medically directed anesthesia model

• Must be comfortable working within a high-acuity hospital environment

• Level I Trauma experience required

• Providers must have prior Level I Trauma experience specifically as a CRNA or CAA

Support & Systems

• Surgeons

• Anesthesiologists

• CRNAs

• Perioperative staff

• EMR: Epic

Requirements & Credentialing

• Active Missouri license required

• BLS required

• ACLS required

• Minimum 1 year of experience required

• 2 years of experience preferred

• Level I Trauma experience required with no exceptions

• Full credentialing timeframe: Approximately 90 days

• Temporary privileges may be available for providers with clean backgrounds to facilitate the requested start date
