Seeking an experienced AP/CP board certified pathologist who is board certified or board eligible in dermatopathology
Seeking 5+ years of experience, including at least 4 years predominantly focused on dermatopathology sign-out
General surgical pathology experience preferred, but not required
Active New Jersey and New York medical licenses required
Excellent communication skills required
Must have the computer skills necessary to perform digital pathology sign-out
Join 11 established pathologists in a busy, multisubspecialty practice
Provide high-volume dermatopathology diagnostic services, including interpretation of:
- Skin biopsies
- Excisions
- Complex consultation cases
Utilize a digital pathology platform for case review and sign-out
Serve as a consultant for challenging cases, including inflammatory dermatoses, cutaneous neoplasms, and adnexal disorders
Ensure accurate, timely case sign-out in compliance with CAP, CLIA, and New York State standards
Participate in laboratory quality assurance and skin pathology protocol development as needed
Contribute to tumor boards for relevant clinical cases

Laboratory capabilities include pathology, cytology, immunohistochemistry, and digital pathology supporting advanced diagnostics
Compensation range: $300,000–$350,000
Compensation is determined by factors including experience, individual performance, quality measures, and position location
