Position Overview

This is a long-term, full-time General Cardiology assignment combining outpatient clinic and call coverage. Invasive Cardiology and diagnostic catheterization experience is preferred but not required. The position utilizes Epic EMR and includes beeper call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Outpatient and call coverage with scheduled clinic hours and beeper call.

Schedule includes Monday-Friday clinic with 8-hour days (7am-5pm), weeknight beeper call, and 24-hour weekend beeper call. Monthly call schedule consists of one full week on call (Monday-Sunday) and one week of weekday call (Monday-Friday).

Expected patient encounters of approximately 15 per shift, with possible phone consultations. Call response time required within 20 minutes.

Candidate Requirements

Board certification in Cardiology (certified minimum) required. Active medical license in Washington or IMLC accepted. DEA registration required. Current BLS and ACLS certifications required. Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges are available.

Estimated credentialing timeline is 90 days. Clean files preferred.
