Position Overview
This is an urgent need. Provider must have active NC license and clean history.
Key Responsibilities
Beeper call coverage on an inpatient service with solo call ratio. Call response time required: 30 minutes. Average patient encounters per shift: 2–6. Average phone consults: 7–10. Hands-on percentage: 10%. Admissions: 1–3 per shift. Both rounding responsibilities.
Candidate Requirements
Active North Carolina medical license required with clean history. Board certification eligible minimum in Pediatrics. PALS certification required. NRP certification required. EMR system: MediTech. Temporary privileges available.
Organizational Highlights
Inpatient pediatrics setting. Trauma Level 0, Pediatrics Level 2. 2 RNs on staff. Insurance provided by vendor. Orientation up to 150 hours allowed. Overtime allowed with 1.3x multiplier. Holiday pay allowed with 1.3x multiplier. Nightly call and 24-hour call options available. Call-back arrangements available. Estimated credentialing time: 7–10 days.
