Position Overview

Outpatient practice providing care to a mix of pediatric and adult patients. Schedule consists of 18 patients per day (PPD minimum), Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Chart closure required within 72 hours. An active DEA is required before the start date.

Key Responsibilities

Provide clinical care in an outpatient setting with electronic health record documentation using Epic. See 18 patients per day across pediatric and adult populations.

Candidate Requirements

Advanced Practice Clinician (Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Family Practice) with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar setting. Board certification eligible minimum required. BLS certification required. Furnished license with Schedule II required for Nurse Practitioners. California Controlled Substance Education Course Certificate required for Physician Assistants. Licensed in California. The following immunizations are required before the start date: Flu Vaccine, TB Status/X-Ray Results (within 90 days of start date), Positive MMR Titer or Complete Immunization Series, Positive Hepatitis B Titer or Complete Immunization Series, Positive Varicella Zoster Titer or Complete Immunization Series, Tdap Immunization (within the last 10 years). Credentialing typically takes 30 to 90 days. It is preferred that providers are ORP (order, referring, and prescribing) enrolled in MediCal when submitted; if not, providers must be willing to enroll or be enrolled during credentialing. CVs must include the month and date on work experience with all gaps in employment accounted for.
