Locums - Massillon, Ohio | NP/PA Electrophysiology Opportunity

Clinical Role

RecruitWell is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a locums Electrophysiology opportunity in Massillon, Ohio. This is a full-time outpatient clinic assignment focused on established Electrophysiology patients, hospital follow-up visits, medication management, and improving outpatient access.

Assignment Details

• Start date: ASAP

• Coverage through December 31, 2026

• Specialty: Cardiology – Electrophysiology

• Outpatient clinic setting

• Reason for coverage: Lack of outpatient access

• Approximately 12-14 patients per shift

• No procedures required

Schedule & Coverage

• Monday-Friday

• 8:00 am-4:00 pm

• No call responsibilities

Practice Setting & Case Mix

• Outpatient Electrophysiology clinic

• Established patient visits

• Hospital follow-up visits

• Ongoing Electrophysiology and Cardiology management

• No procedural responsibilities

Clinical Details & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage established Electrophysiology patients

• Conduct hospital follow-up visits

• Manage patient inbox messages

• Process prescription refills

• Coordinate ongoing outpatient Electrophysiology care

• Provide telemedicine services for local patients as required

Support & Technology

• 1 provider per shift

• Approximately 1-2 support staff per shift, which may include:

  • Medical Assistants

  • LPNs

  • RNs

• EMR: Epic

Requirements & Credentialing

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

• Accepted credentials include:

  • CNP

  • CNS

  • PA

• Active Ohio state license required

• Licensing candidates will not be considered

• Relevant Cardiology/Electrophysiology experience required

• Telemedicine required for local patients

• Out-of-state telemedicine not required
