Clinical Role

RecruitWell is seeking Board-Certified Emergency Medicine physicians for locums coverage in Clinton, North Carolina. This opportunity offers 12-hour Emergency Department shifts in a hospital setting with physician and APP support.

Assignment Details

• Facility will accept multiple providers

• Standard Emergency Room coverage

• 12-hour shifts

• Open ICU

• 22-bed facility

• Hospital-owned apartment housing provided

Schedule & Coverage

Current openings:

November 27, 2026 - 7a - 7p
December 26, 2026 - 7a - 7p

Practice Setting & Case Mix

• Annual Emergency Department volume: Approximately 32,000 patients

• Daily patient volume: Approximately 90-100 patients

• Physicians typically see approximately 18-20 patients per 12-hour shift

• Open ICU

Practice Model & Clinical Expectations

• Solo Emergency Room physician coverage during 12-hour shifts

• One physician with two mid-level providers providing split coverage

• Provider must be comfortable managing a broad range of Emergency Medicine presentations

Support & Systems

• EMR: Meditech 6.1

• Two mid-level providers supporting physician coverage

Requirements & Credentialing

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine required

• Active North Carolina medical license required

• IMLC candidates welcome

• Must be credentialed with North Carolina Medicaid

• Must be enrolled in PECOS
