Locums – Northfield, Minnesota, OB/GYN Job (IMLC Accepted)

Start Date: 12/01/2026

Job Details:

• Duration: 6 months, with the possibility of a 6-month extension in 2027

• Coverage Need: Long-term coverage, specifically seeking support throughout 2027

• Coverage Type: Scheduled shifts, no call

• Shift: Standard day shift, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (8 hours)

• Average Daily Census: 18 patients

• Patient Age Groups: Adolescents and adults

• EMR: Expanse

• Meditech Experience: Required

Schedule:

• 6–8 clinic shifts per month
• 2–3 weekday call shifts per month
• 0–1 weekend call shift per month
• Call is typically evaluated quarterly, averaging approximately 8 weekday call shifts and 2 weekend call shifts per quarter

Clinical Details:

• General OB/GYN practice with a strong emphasis on obstetrics in the clinic and gynecology procedures.

• No high-risk obstetrics.

• No Level II nursery.

• CRNAs are available on call but are not onsite 24/7.

• Neonatal nurse practitioners (NNPs) are on call but are not in-house.

Requirements:

• Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology

• Active Minnesota medical license or IMLC accepted

• Required certifications:

  • ACLS

  • BLS

  • PALS

• Meditech experience required
