Locums – Robbinsdale, Minnesota, Interventional Radiology Job

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule:

• 8:00 AM–5:00 PM hospital coverage with overnight pager call

• Minimum of 2 weeks per month

• Call Type: Beeper call

• Call Ratio: 1:2

• Average Callbacks: 1–2 after-hours procedures per week

• Reason for Coverage: Potential coverage gap

Practice Details:

• Setting: Inpatient/hospital-based
• Patient Population: 100% adults
• Average Daily Volume:
  • Weekdays: Approximately 10 cases per day
  • Weekends: Approximately 6 cases per day
• Trauma Level: Level I Trauma Center
  • 413 beds
• Stroke Center: Thrombectomy-capable
• EMR: Epic
• Coverage is limited to interventional radiology; no diagnostic reads are anticipated.

Clinical Responsibilities:

• General interventional radiology procedures

• Cerebral embolectomy

• Moderate sedation

• No aneurysm management required

Requirements:

• Board certified or board eligible within 5 years of residency

• Fellowship training required

• Active Minnesota medical license

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice experience

• ACLS certification

• Epic experience preferred
