Locums – Pearland, Texas | Emergency Medicine Opportunity

Clinical Role
RecruitWell is seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine physician for a locums opportunity in Pearland, Texas. This assignment offers 12-hour shifts in a Level IV Emergency Department with APP support, onsite air transport access, and comprehensive cardiac and stroke services. Candidates must have scheduling flexibility and be willing to work nights.

Assignment Details

Position Highlights

• Approximately 25,000 annual Emergency Department visits

• 12 Emergency Department beds

• Level IV facility

• Onsite air transport access

• Accredited Chest Pain Center

• Certified Primary Stroke Center

• 24/7 STEMI program

• Interventional Cardiology support

• 24-hour cardiac catheterization lab

Clinical Details & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat Emergency Department patients

• Manage a broad range of acute and emergent conditions

• Provide rapid assessment and treatment for cardiac and stroke emergencies

• Stabilize critically ill and injured patients

• Coordinate care with APPs, nursing staff, cardiology, and other hospital services

• Complete timely clinical documentation

Support & Staffing

• Day coverage: 1 physician with 2 APPs

• Night coverage: 1 physician with 1 APP

• Onsite air transport support

• Cardiology and STEMI support available

• 24-hour cardiac catheterization capability

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible through ABEM or AOBEM

• Active Texas medical license required

• Scheduling flexibility required

• Must be willing to work nights

• Must be comfortable providing full-spectrum Emergency Medicine care
