Clinical Role
RecruitWell is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiologist for locums coverage in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This opportunity includes clinic, procedures, inpatient rounding, and call coverage. IMLC candidates are accepted.

Assignment Details

• Coverage: January 18–25, 2027

• Ongoing coverage need: approximately 1 week plus 1 weekend per month

• Clinic, procedures, and call

• Adult patient population

• Approximately 17–18 patients per day

• Clinic and hospital settings

• 150-bed hospital

• APP support available with Interventional Cardiology when covering General Cardiology

• Minimal anticipated nighttime callbacks

• Weekend rounding required

• Epic EMR

• Temporary privileges available for clean files

Clinical Details & Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient Cardiology clinic coverage

• Provide hospital-based Cardiology care

• Perform and interpret appropriate cardiac studies

• Participate in call coverage

• Complete weekend inpatient rounding

• Evaluate and manage adult Cardiology patients

• Collaborate with APPs and Interventional Cardiology providers

• Complete timely clinical documentation

Procedures & Skills

• Nuclear cardiology reads

• Stress test interpretation

• TEE

• Cardioversion

• Echocardiogram and cardiac monitor interpretation

• CT reading experience preferred

• Average nighttime callbacks: 0

• Average weekend callbacks: 0

• Weekend inpatient rounding required
