Position Overview

• Specialty: Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R / Physiatry)

• Position Type: Permanent

• Practice Settings: Inpatient rehabilitation facility and skilled nursing facilities

• Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible

• Patient Volume: Approximately 18–20 patients per day at the inpatient rehabilitation facility

• Call: Shared 1:4 call for the inpatient rehabilitation facility only; no call for skilled nursing facilities

• Market Coverage: Four physicians in the market

Compensation & Benefits

• Medical Director Salary: $200,000 guaranteed annually

• Staff Physician Salary: $180,000 guaranteed annually

• Production Bonus: 70% of billings once bonus structure requirements are met

• Potential Annual Earnings: $230,000–$425,000+ for full-time physicians, including salary and production bonuses

• Employment Structure:

  • Full-time: W-2 employment

  • Part-time: 1099 through the hiring entity

Licensure & Certifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in PM&R

• State medical license requirements should be confirmed with the hiring team

Clinical & Administrative Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in inpatient rehabilitation and skilled nursing settings

• Fulfill Medical Director administrative responsibilities

• Manage approximately 18–20 patients per day at the inpatient rehabilitation facility

• Participate in a shared 1:4 call rotation for the inpatient rehabilitation facility

• Work within an established compliance program
