PM&R Physician – Inpatient Rehabilitation, Johnston, Rhode Island

Clinical Role

Seeking a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician to provide inpatient rehabilitation care, with opportunities for medical director responsibilities depending on the position.

• Provide care to approximately 18–20 patients per day in an inpatient rehabilitation facility.

• Provide clinical coverage across inpatient rehabilitation and skilled nursing facilities (SNFs).

• Participate in a shared 1:4 call rotation for the inpatient rehabilitation facility.

• No call responsibilities for SNF coverage.

• Collaborate with physicians and the rehabilitation care team.

• Medical director responsibilities may include clinical leadership, administrative oversight, and compliance-related duties.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).

• Appropriate medical licensure for Rhode Island; specific licensing requirements should be confirmed.

• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation preferred.

Compensation

• Staff Physician: $180,000 guaranteed annual salary.

• Medical Director: $200,000 guaranteed annual salary.

• Production bonus opportunity based on 70% of billings after applicable bonus requirements are met.

• Full-time physicians may earn approximately $230,000–$425,000+ annually, including salary and production bonuses.
