Locums – Woodland, California, Remote Radiology Job

Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview

• Duration: 9–12 months

• Opportunity: Full-time

• Setting: Hospital emergency department and inpatient

• Coverage Reason: Short-staffed

• Coverage Scope: Provide radiology reads for multiple hospitals and clinics

• Shift Schedule: 2:00 AM–8:00 AM, any 5 days per week

• Call/Weekends: No call or weekend coverage required

• Equipment Provided: Workstation only

Location & Licensing Requirements

• Provider must reside in one of the following states:

  • California

  • Colorado

  • Florida

  • Arizona

  • Utah

• Active California medical license required

• Board-certified radiologist required

Clinical Responsibilities

• Interpret general diagnostic imaging studies, including:

  • MRI

  • CT

  • Ultrasound

  • X-ray

Average Daily Study Volume

• 20–25 ultrasound studies and 25–30 CT/MRI studies, or

• 150–200 X-ray studies

Technology & Support

• EMR: Cerner

• PACS: Merge PACS

• Voice Recognition: Nuance PowerScribe 360

• Technical Support: 24/7 IT support

Credentialing

• Credentialing may take up to 90 days.
