Job Details

• Specialty: Ophthalmology

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Coverage Type: Clinic and surgical coverage

• Call Responsibilities: None

• Patient Volume: Approximately 20 patients per shift

• Exam Rooms: 3

• EMR: Epic

• Trauma Level: Level II

• Hospital Certification: Stroke certified

Schedule & Coverage Preferences

• Preferred schedule: Two weeks on, followed by two weeks off

• Week 1: Surgeries and procedures

• Week 2: Follow-up appointments

Required Skills & Procedures

• Cataract surgery

• Intravitreal injections

Patient Volume & Productivity Expectations

• Busy practice seeking a productive, efficient provider

• Minimum of 4 clinic patients per hour

• Expected volume of 12–14 procedures or surgeries per day

Clinical Support

• 2 experienced, efficient, and knowledgeable Medical Assistants (MAs)

• 3 exam rooms available for patient care

Provider Requirements

• Board-certified in Ophthalmology

• Active Michigan medical license or IMLC accepted

• BLS certification required
