Locums – Grove City, Ohio, Medical Oncology Opening (IMLC Accepted)

Clinical Role
RecruitWell is seeking a Board Certified Medical Oncologist for an ongoing locums opportunity in Grove City, Ohio. This community-based position includes primarily outpatient Oncology care with some inpatient responsibilities and shared night and weekend call. IMLC and licensing candidates may be considered.

Assignment Details

• Start: ASAP, once credentialed

• Ongoing until a permanent physician is hired

• 4–5 days per week

• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Inpatient and outpatient coverage

• Preference for candidates who can provide 4 consecutive weeks of coverage

• Candidates offering slightly less than 4 weeks at a time may also be considered

• 1 provider needed

Call Details

• Night and weekend call

• Call ratio: 1:4

• Beeper / phone call

• Average callback hours: Unknown

Clinical Details & Responsibilities

• Provide Medical Oncology care to an adult patient population

• Manage outpatient clinic patients

• Provide inpatient Oncology coverage as needed

• Participate in shared night and weekend call

• Coordinate care with hospital and clinic teams

• Complete timely clinical documentation

• No specific procedures required

Patient Volume & Practice Setting

• 100% adult patient population

• Approximately 80% outpatient / 20% inpatient

• Clinic: approximately 16–20 patients per day

• Hospital: approximately 2–4 patients per day

• Community-based practice

• Clinic, outpatient, and hospital-based settings

• No teaching or leadership responsibilities

Support & Technology

• EMR: Epic

• Non-trauma facility

Requirements

• Active Board Certification in Medical Oncology required

• Medical Oncology fellowship required

• Active Ohio license or active IMLC preferred

• Candidates requiring Ohio licensure may be considered

• ACLS required

• DEA required

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
